Knitted Dishcloth Set

These washcloths are perfect for scrubbing in the kitchen and at-home spa treatments in the bath. I designed these quick-knits in the popular Linen Stitch since it’s a thin, solid piece with visually engaging color changes.

Skill Level: Intermediate

This is an enjoyable project for those comfortable changing yarn colors and slipping stitches.

Easy-to-Memorize

As a 2-Row Repeat Knit Stitch Pattern, it’s very easy to memorize. This texture is a modern design created with a simple combination of knits, purls, and slip stitches.

Knitted Bottom-Up

This dishcloth pattern is knitted bottom-up on straight needles.

Although blocking is optional because this stitch easily lays flat, it is recommended to do so for best results. The linen is especially beautiful when opened up a little bit horizontally. Simply wet-blocking overnight will create a flat piece with a stunning texture.

Great for Gifting

Create a spa gift set or a complete dishcloth package for those you love. These are great for gifting, as they are fairly quick to knit and can be used by everyone.

Absolutely adore this stitch and Kristen’s pattern. As a born-again knitter after 40 yrs, this is an easy stitch and the end product is more like a cool woven tribal cloth with stretch. I improvised and am now making one with 3 colours – carrying them up the side is a bit of an effort to make it look clean & tidy, but so far, so good. May thread the colours down the other side for balance.
Kristen’s vids and detailed instructions have helped a lot, and I bought her Knit Stitch book on Amazon for reference – no coil binding, so I’ve broken the spine already.
    Thanks from Canada, Kristen!

Oooh, looking forward to knitting some up myself, thanks!
