Embossed Leaf Stitch Knitting Pattern for Beginners
This Embossed Leaf Stitch Knitting Pattern is a visually interesting vintage design.
It is perfect for beginners with a simple combination of knits and purls in a 16-Row Repeat. Similar to the Cut Diagonals Pattern, it is a great choice to create textured pillow covers, blankets, and scarves with its bold motif.
Get your free written pattern instructions with video tutorials below. You may also purchase my ad-free Knit Stitch Pattern Book in both hardcopy and e-book formats.

CLOSER LOOK AT THE EMBOSSED LEAF STITCH
Similar to the Cut Diagonals pattern, this vintage design separates the slanting parallelogram shapes with a horizontal separation created by three rows of raised purl stitches.
This is not a reversible pattern because the right side of the work displays the design, but the wrong (back) side does not.
