About the Diamond Brocade Knit Stitch
Let’s closely examine how we combine knits and purls to create the elegant Diamond Brocade Knit Stitch Pattern.
Row Repeat
Create a stylish textured graphic by knitting up this 8-Row Repeat Knit Stitch Pattern. I envision it as a stunning knitted pillow or blanket.
Not Reversible
This is not a reversible pattern, meaning that the Right and Wrong sides look different. However, the wrong side displays a clean look that I wouldn’t mind being visible.
Curls Slightly
The edges of this stitch slightly curls since the base of the texture is Stockinette. As such I suggest you consider blocking or adding a border to your piece to help it lay flat. My favorite border stitches are Garter and Seed stitches. Both adding a border and blocking your piece helps it lay flat the best!
