Seersucker Stitch Texture Design
The Seersucker Stitch is not a reversible pattern, because the right and wrong sides are different. Although, the wrong side has a nice clean look when visible.
This 8-Row Repeat Knit Stitch Pattern is achieved with just a simple combination of knits and purls.
The word “seersucker” came into English from Hindi, and originates from the Persian words literally meaning “milk and sugar.” As a result, the seersucker fashion fabric is woven with some threads bunching together, giving the fabric a slightly wrinkled appearance.
